I desire to elaborate on my experience with the amount of trouble I had to go through attempting to get compensated for medical expenses that I specifically tried to avoid in the first place. (Read the “Why” area here.)

After all the issues I experienced and lack of communication, I was finally informed that the hospital bill may be paid by the victims of crimes department of the state. However, at a reduced amount! Yeah, a lowered version of the expenses from over $500 to way under $400 should the state pay the bill. That is a classic example of one hand washing the other. Now, if I am stuck with the expense of the medical care WHICH I REFUSED IN THE FIRST PLACE, they would have never lowered the cost. As a matter of fact, I would have been fined even more and probably faced legal ramifications because I would have never paid the bill. EVER!

Fact is, I REFUSED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. IT WAS NOT NEEDED. WHY SHOULD I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING RELATED INCLUDING A PAPER TRAIL AND FURTHER COMMUNICATIONS! What a fuc*ing JOKE!!! WHERE I OUR ACTUAL RESTITUTION?
